Speech Summer Camps
Speech Specialists is excited to offer summer camp programs this year at our Scarborough and Mississauga clinics! Our camps are a fun way to work on speech and language goals, literacy skills, and school readiness skills with both individual and group based sessions.
We are offering 3 Summer Camp Programs for 2024:
This 5-week program is geared towards building speech skills for children entering JK, SK, or Grade 1 in September 2024. It will focus on following directions, vocabulary development, social communication skills, fine motor skills, and sound awareness.
When: July 15 – Aug 16 2024 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 am – 12 pm
Where: Mississauga Clinics or Scarborough Clinic
Price: $450/week
Campers can pick and choose which weeks they want to register for but must register for a minimum of 2 weeks/program
This 5-week camp is geared towards children between the ages of 4 years – 8 years. It focuses on speech sound concerns and provides functional practice through play based activities, structured tasks, and group practice with other kids working on similar goals.
When: July 15 – Aug 16 2024 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 12 pm
Where: Mississauga Clinics or Scarborough Clinic
Price: $300/week
Campers can pick and choose which weeks they want to register for but must register for a minimum of 2 weeks/program
This is a 5-week camp geared towards children between the ages of 8-12 years. It focuses on phonological awareness, phonics and decoding, reading fluency, grade level writing skills, grammar and sentence structure, and vocabulary development.
When: July 15 – Aug 16 2024 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm – 3 pm
Where: Mississauga Clinics or Scarborough Clinic
Price: $300/week
Campers can pick and choose which weeks they want to register for but must register for a minimum of 2 weeks/program
Program requirements for all camp programs:
- Child MUST be independent with toileting
- Child should be able to follow directions well
